I was in the 5th standard then. Once I could not do a painting correct and the teacher beat me till I bled. Since then I always thought painters to be a cruel lot. I have been puzzling over ‘composition’ in modern paintings for quite a while now. I did not know anything about it. I am a student of Abhinav Arts College. I asked my teacher about it. But he avoided answering me – ‘this topic comes much later’. The moment I saw your work, the explanations with the paintings clarified this whole issue to me to some extent.
