[man], swan and a machine
Oil on A3 oil-paper 535 mm X 435 mm Framed with glass – 535 mm X 435 mm
Title in Sanskrit - हा हन्त हन्त नलिनीम् गज उज्जहार l
The idea comes from a couplet in Sanskrit - an ancient Indian language.
It describes the plight of a bee caught in a lotus, as it closes its
petals at sunset. The bee hopes - the night will be over, the sun will shine
again, the lotus will smile and I'll be free.
But a drunk elephant comes to the pond and tramples the lotus.
