girl at a window
Oil on Box Canvas 560 mm X 460 mm Framed with non-reflective glass
Interestingly,
the idea of the horizontal quadrangle on the floor came from Vladimir Nabokov's
'The Gift'. I had read that book ages ago but a segment of a sentence had stuck
in my memory.
'As he crossed towards the pharmacy at the corner...[he] saw... a blindingly white parallelogram of sky being unloaded from the van...'
I realized the origin after I finished doing the yellowish-white patch.
