This painting is based
on the aftermath of Huricane Katrina, which hit the US in Aug 2005. The
event showed us how in New Orleans the poor and the blacks were left
to die while the rich and the whites escaped. It shows how a Civil Society
crumbles - both physically and mentally in the face of an onslaught from
outside.
