Full Title : Kurds : songs [only] of freedom

Kurds are the single largest stateless ethnic group in the world. [As against some 11 million palestinians, kurds are estimated to be 28-35 million] After the first and second world wars they sought autonomy, were and continue to be thwarted by Turkey, Iran and now Iraq is a question-mark. They are spread in the contiguous areas of mainly Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria [the flags in the background]. They are also in other states like Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Armenia, etc.
Violence to suppress their revolts have been the tactics of the states where they exist in minority.
Open to interpretation why this population is so much under-discussed in the world compared with palestinians - a likely explanation is this is an intra-muslim problem, unlike muslim-jew of Palestinians.
